Pressure Spray Dryer
Pressure-nozzle spray dryer that dries and granulates in one step, producing uniform spherical granules with good flow and solubility.
Overview
The pressure spray dryer completes drying and granulation at the same time. By adjusting the feed-pump pressure, flow rate and nozzle size, it produces spherical granules of a defined size, making it equally suited to hot-air drying and cold-air granulation.

Working Principle
Feed liquid is delivered at high pressure through a diaphragm pump and sprayed into droplets that descend co-currently with hot air. Most of the powder is collected at the tower base, while fines are separated by a cyclone and the exhaust is drawn off by a fan, giving 96-98% recovery. A steam or electric heater provides infinitely adjustable inlet temperature.
