Box-Type Vacuum Dryer

Overview
The box-type vacuum dryer dries materials on heated trays inside a sealed chamber held under vacuum. Available in round (YZG) and square (FZG) forms, it is ideal for heat-sensitive, easily oxidised and easily decomposed products, and for materials whose solvents must be recovered or whose residual moisture must be very low.

Working Principle
Trays of material rest on hollow heating shelves; steam, hot water or thermal oil circulates through the shelves to heat the product by conduction. Under vacuum the boiling point of moisture falls, so water and solvents evaporate at low temperature and are drawn off by the vacuum system, optionally passing through a condenser for recovery.
