Conical Twin-Screw Mixer

Overview
The conical twin-screw mixer has a conical vessel containing two spiral screws mounted on a rotating arm. Each screw turns to lift material upward while the arm revolves the screws around the cone, producing fast, gentle and highly uniform mixing of powders without shear or segregation.

Working Principle
The two screws rotate to convey material upward along the cone wall, while the boom arm slowly revolves them through the whole charge. The combination of each screw's self-rotation and the arm's revolution creates a convective, shear-free mixing action that blends the components evenly.
